Diplomate of Acupuncture

 

A Diplomate of Acupuncture is an Acupuncturist who is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®). It is a considerable professional achievement to earn the designation Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCCAOM). NCCAOM certification indicates to employers, patients, and peers that one has met national standards for the safe and competent practice of Acupuncture as defined by the Acupuncture and Traditional East Asian Medicine (TEAM) profession. Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)

 

Tammy Belanger is registered and licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Massachusetts, and is Board certified by The National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Throughout her decades of practice, she has provided rehabilitative services to children and adults in multiple settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, out-patient clinics, acute rehabilitative centers, sub-acute facilities, schools, and even their own homes.


Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS)

 

Certified through the Back School of Atlanta. Assesses and makes recommendations for how one's environment can be modified to reduce or eliminate injury.


NCCAOM Chinese Herbal Compounding and Safety Certificate (CHCS)

 

National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCCAOM) certification in the safety and ethics of Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine compounding.
